The Celts are a fine franchise. The Lakers are better.
Clearly the Lakers have surpassed the Celtics and the top team in the NBA and it is only a matter of time till they pass them for the most titles. The bulk of Boston’s championships were won in the Russell era, while the Lakers won titles in the 1940’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s 80’s, and this decade as well.
