I’ve got RR horror stories because an idiot Ibizan breeder didn’t bother to observe her dog’s *first* signs of aggression and let them all run together *after* the first near-fatal attack and then had the gall to solicit pity when she again let them out together and the RR utterly destroyed the Ibizan the second go-round.

“Show breeder pros”...gotta love ‘em.

To top it off, she recently got a Beauceron as a “service dog”.

It’s hard to find a more dog aggressive breed outside of bullies.

What a brainiac.

That's really a shame. Some breeders believe that "warning" behaviour, such as growling, is acceptable. Perhaps it can be for some dogs, but for others it seems to result in escalation. Imho, lack of response can be interpreted by a dog as approval.

I have a set of videos by Patricia McConnell that I have found helpful in understanding dog aggression.
