Yup, and cranberry juice makes you pee like a racehorse, too.
Ow!

According to my uro-gynecologist, cranberry juice is a good aid to preventing infections, but an additional irritant to the bladder when an infection is present.
So she says drink it when you’re clear but not not when you have an active infection.
I have Lupus and suffer from chronic urinary infections.

Cranberry for treatment of UTI? Duh! When combined with acidophilus you have the natural cure in the same timeframe as when antibiotics are prescribed. Pain relieved within 2 hours.

It works.
I don’t get a UTI often(once every 5 years tops) but I power down as much of it as I can stomach and I’m all better, often within 24 hours.

Write this down:
Cranberry juice as typically commercially available has too much sugar to do any good.
The active ingredient in cranberry juice is D-Manose.
Acquire a D-manose suppliment and take it.
Guaranteed UTI cure within 1 week. No antibiotics, nothing.

Been using cranraspberry with my Vodka for years. No UTIs here! It even adds to the flavor of Sangria, if you like wine.

I wasn’t aware that we needed any new evidence. The effectiveness of cranberry has never been in question.
