TONY Blair's much-hyped autobiography is more like "a love letter" to ex-US President George W. Bush, say insiders who have seen drafts of the book....

The News of the World can reveal Blair says he thinks Bush was the only politician in the world with the courage and commitment to take on al-Qaeda after the 9/11 terror attacks.

"Tony says he was wowed by Bush's strength, courage and conviction and saw him as a highly intelligent and visionary friend.

A commenter at the end of the article may be on to something.

Looks like Tony wants to sell a few copies in the Good Ole' U.S of A. Shrewd marketing strategy Mr Blair.

“Blair says he thinks Bush was the only politician in the world with the courage and commitment to take on al-Qaeda after the 9/11 terror attacks.”

What’s the point the writer is making? How can anyone dispute this?

The Left isn’t going to like that.

"The Left isn’t going to like that."

What's that word that's so delicious when applied to the hate-mongering Left...apoplectic?...yeah, that's the word.

It’s easy enough to have a less-than-favorable view of GW. I know I had little appreciation for his domestic policies or his willingness to fold to the demonRATs.

That being said, GW is a decent man- perhaps far too decent for DC- and he kept us safe for the years after 9-11. The tin pots dicked with him far LESS than they are doing with the current bozo-in-chief.

I believe history will be far kinder to him than to the three losers the left currently worships- Clinton, Carter and Obama.

This is going to make the British Left apoplectic, which will highlight and underscore their terminal case of Bush Derangement Syndrome.

Blair is about as far to the left on every other contemporary issue as you can get, with the exception of the threat of Islamic Jihadists. But, because Blair recognizes this threat and openly speaks about it, he's persona non grata in liberal circles now - exactly like Joe Lieberman.

He made a few moves that I did not like but he did cut taxes and tried to privatize Social Security. The left loves you now because you are on the “see, everyone is doing it” bandwagon.

B-HO would have issued a stern professorial lecture from his bunker in Acapulco; “Let me be clear! There will be no ‘false choice’ between ‘identifying the enemy’ or ‘striking back’. I, with the help of my colleagues, will create and issue strong, comprehensive legislation which, uhhhh, combats such ‘man-caused tragedies’.” Then he would have rammed a bill down our throats for mandatory travel insurance.

The same crowd of Muslims would have been as equally ‘indignant’ as they are today - and exceptionally pissed off that B-HO didn’t ‘get’ their ‘message’.

Two men who took the Islamic threat serious. Bush’s legacy will be written by other than Big Media.

Pray for America
