a little late, isn’t it?
Yep,but good video, and here is another beer fest for this weekend.
Artemis,
I travel quite extensively around the U.S. with my wife.
Wherever I go I always reference (the beer mapping project) to see if a microbrewery is in the area.
Capitalist, who does his thing as best he or she can.
Some very fine dining and some really very goooood beers too. Some not so good but ALL better than Budweiser.

Don’t tell the Baptists!
There was a little grocery store around the corner fromour house when I was growing up, in MS, in the late 50s and early 60s. We apparently had an 'account' with the store, because Mama would send us down there, from time to time, to pick up an order, and we never paid directly. I do remember one Christmas, however, when Mama sent us down to pick up an order she'd called in, and in the box of stuff was a quart jar of golden liquid. She never said what it was, but I'm guessing it was special liquid corn, since that Christmas night was the only time I ever saw my Daddy anywhere NEAR tipsy. ;o)
Where are the microbreweries and craft brewers, in MS?
We didn’t run a store exactly but my daddy and brother sold a lot of moonshine back in the day. That was how I earned my allowance during high school, helping with the family business.
In 1971 my brother spent 6 months in the Fed Pen in Springfield Mo. That was the end of the family business.
I can’t help but think about Lewis Grizzard’s quote
“The Baptist are a lot more liberal now, they speak to each other in the liquor store.”
My Uncle John spent some time in prison for running moonshine. That was in the late 30s, before he married my Daddy's sister. Sadly, I never knew him, because he died before I was born. Sounded like a character, though!
Lazy Magnoila is the only we have in the state, but we are working on it.

Lazy Magnolia beer in Kiln, Mississippi, on Roscoe Turner Road. They make a Southern Pecan brown ale that is to my liking. Kroger carries it just about all over the state. There are several others but the Lazy Magnolia beer is what is in my hand at the moment.
Oh, yeah, Ken...this is great!
Why should the NW have all of the fun? lol It’s the only area where I agree with state politics out here.
Microbrews...capitalism at it’s finest! ;o)
