For once, a book which really lives up to its title.

Hall self-published this massive tome in 1928, consisting of about 200 legal-sized pages in 8 point type; it is literally his magnum opus.

Each of the nearly 50 chapters is so dense with information that it is the equivalent of an entire short book.

Although there are some questionable and controversial parts of the book, such as the outdated material on Islam, the portion on the Bacon-Shakespeare hypothesis, and Hall's conspiracy theory of history as driven by an elite cabal of roving immortals, they are far out-weighed by the comprehensive information here on other subjects.

A rather interesting book. I have a hardback copy which I highly recommend over the paperback version. Hall has several interesting chapters in this book, and it is indeed his magnum opus. I’m suprised to see a post on FR discussing it.

IMHO Beware of this one.
H. P. Blavatsky is known occultist. I will say nothing further, except Secret History and Occult themes should turn on a yellow light, at the very least.

Can I get a ‘CLIFF NOTES’ of it? Or Reader’s Digest Condensed Version?

I want to learn the Secret of all time, the secret of the Universe, The Secret Teachings of All Ages, but... I don’t want to invest that much time in reading.

Awesome. Are the Cliff Notes out yet? Just kidding!

This type of endeavor must have been in favor at the time. The Kellogg family (yes, Corn Flakes, etc.), claimed the Urantia Book, a huge convoluted tome, was passed to a human by spiritual beings living on an invisible plane (among many) in the universes. I think they published it in 1955, but it seemed to be set mainly in 1930’s as far the likely time frame of the writing.

Hopefully this book is better than the Urantia Book, which was entertaining at first, but made a better doorstop than a life/spiritual guide. I check a link and see waht I think, thanks for the post.

Each has a segment of society. Should be be ruled by the liberal elite of today or dig deeper and understand the past.

I believe you are looking for this.

If that's still too much reading I can just give you the answer.
I read all of his books.

It’s tripe. In 2003, I started looking into some of the new age religions because of the cultists Oprah was pushing onto an unsuspecting public. Interestingly, much of my research led me to NGOs affiliated with the U.N. and to the U.N. itself. I read through 6 years of a Yahoo Theosophy discussion group. I didn’t join. I just read. I stopped reading out of total frustration that the members, who were very intelligent, could spend so much time on such utter hogwash. One of the members was a young man who called himself Morton Sufi-lite. So I ended up briefly studying the relationship between new age sufism and U.N. NGOs. Ironically, that took me into two other areas - the study of Islam itself and the global organizations who were planning to begin what they called The Global Marshall Plan which was based on Soros economics, environmentalism, and the forced redistribution of wealth from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere.

Thanks for your post. I’ve read up on Theosophy, Blavatsky, Crowley, Rudolf Steiner/Waldorf, Kali-Ma, Baphomet, Mohammad, et al, and found their source is the same. Didn’t know about the U.N. link but then again, not surprising.

Thanks for the report.

I have read that this Occult underpinning, is at its root, Satanic. I was lead to this information, starting with “The Franklin Cover-up”, and then related books, following the references.
Most people don't realize that UN Charter was written by two Russian agents, Alger Hiss and Dexter White, and Supreme Court Justice Abe Fortes. They where tasked by President Truman.
The reading room at the UN is not open to the public, and contains Occult and Satanic reference material, I have read (sorry don't remember exact reference that report this).

Lucis Trust, Robert Muller & the Arcane School - have you run across those? And of course, the Earth Charter.

For those interested in this book, you may find the book The Secret History of the World by Mark Booth, published in 2008 which is very similar in form and design.

Here’s an eerie note about anti-Christ from one of the final pages: “And just as Lucifer incarnated so too Satan will incarnate. He will do so as a writer. His aim will be to destroy spirituality...
At first he will appear to be a great benefactor on humankind, a genius. To begin with he himself may not realise he is the Anti-Christ, believing he acts only out of love for humanity.”

Hmmm hmmm hmmm. Just thought it was interesting. ;)

‘Lucis Trust”, yes, the others no.
How can I find out more?

No problem, dude.

The Lazy Man's Guide to Enlightenment - Foreword: I am a lazy man. Laziness keeps me from believing that enlightenment demands effort, discipline, strict diet, non-smoking, and other evidences of virtue. That's about the worst heresy I could propose, but I have to be honest before I can be reverent. I am doing the work of writing this book to save myself the trouble of talking about it.
