Although Weiner is a wiener, his handle is actually really pronounced "Whiner."

A Wiener is a guy from Vienna or a hot dog, which is really a frankfurter. A Weiner has something to do with wine, which can be used to wash down hot dogs.

Speaking of which, this whole deal just won't wash at all!
