Over the last 24 hours, I have been getting a Java Up-date pop-up for Ju Check. I have heard this is a virus but at the same time, read that this is not.
Anyone familiar with this?
Happened to me too yesterday. I deleted it.
Did Ju Check your email too?
:0)
(don’t know what it is).
Sounds like a phrase from Hamas or Hezbollah.
We’re going to have to do a Ju check.
Ju could be on to something....
:0)
It runs as a JAVA update then always finds that my version of JAVA is already up to date before it makes the final installation.
So it is not a virus?
I don’t know. I just know what it’s like when JAVA fails on your system from not being updated. Lots of Internet things won’t run that you take for granted.
I hear this whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant, actually.
“Ju check to see eef sauce ees too hot, senor?”
It should be the component of your JAVA installation that checks for updates. First check to make sure that your firewall and/or antivirus software aren’t blocking the actual JAVA update from downloading. Otherwise, if it keeps popping up and doesn’t seem to be working properly, you might want to uninstall your current JAVA installation, then surf over to Sun Microsystems’ website and download the latest version of JAVA to do a fresh installation.
It happens often while playing chess in Tel Aviv.
This virus is very contagious, wash your hands after you touch the keyboard!
You all are too funny this early in the morning...it is just after 4AM here.
Have your cup of laughs this morning. Who knows when you will laugh again? :o)
J ava U pdate Check
I did read where a virus last year had that same name to be able to be hidden in you system.
Here is the exact path name for this:
C:\Program Files\Java\JRe6\bin\JUcheck.exe
bookmark
Probably from Ron Paul. “It’s the Juuuuus!”
