LOS ANGELES (AP) The apparently endless market for images of Marilyn Monroe now extends to inside the bombshell's body.
A set of three Monroe Chest X-rays from a 1954 hospital visit sold Sunday for $45,000 at the Hollywood Legends auction at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

I’m sure doctors were clamoring for those xrays.
I’d rather have Dolly’s.

Man, I could think of many more things to do with $45,000 than buy some bimbo’s chest X-rays.

No kidd’n. I’d rather just BUY a bimbo with major league yabbos and make my own x-rays.

NEIL CAVUTO, HOST: When you think of Hollywood legends or at least when I think of Hollywood legends, my next guest really comes to mind. She's a Golden Globe winner, she's a Broadway star, and did I mention, she is oh gosh she is a knockout. On Saturday [August 13, 2005], actress Raquel Welch will be honored by the Vietnam Veterans of America for entertaining the troops with Bob Hope back in 1968.

November 22, 1970 -- During a fund-raising tour for GI deserters, Vietnam Veterans Against the War and the Black Panthers, Jane Fonda is quoted in the Detroit Free Press as telling a University of Michigan audience:
"I would think that if you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would someday become communist," and "The peace proposal of the Viet Cong is the only honorable, just, possible way to achieve peace in Vietnam."

Fonda made the following statement at the University of Texas:
"We've got to establish a Socialist economic structure that will limit private profit-oriented businesses. Whether the transition is peaceful depends on the way our present governmental leaders react. We must commit our lives to this transition ...... We should be very proud of our new breed of soldier. It's not organized but it's mutiny, and they have every right." --Karen Elliott Dallas Morning News December 11, 1971
From 1972: "I am not a do-gooder, I am a revolutionary. A revolutionary woman."

There’s a sucker born every minute
She went to the doctor because she caught a chest cold and it didn’t want to leave.
Marilyn was pleased that her doctor was so thorough as to x-ray her chest when she came in with a hangnail.
I wonder how much a copy of Obama's birth certificate would fetch at auction.
Did the state release these x-rays to the public or did Monroe during her life? If not I view this as a violation of the doctor-patient confidentiality.
