Our catz get on the tables only after checking carefully for witnesses. Most of them don’t even try it.
Tables and counters were always off limits to my cats. It’s bad enough having cat hair flying through the air but something else again to deliberately cook with it.
But since I don’t have a cat any more....
The late Agnes used to sit in the middle of the coffee table, when we had one. She started it when we lived in an apartment that flooded; the carpet was always soggy when it rained.
