I grew White Cloud cauliflower and it did grow almost as big as those wonderful heads in the grocery store. It was my understanding that the inner leaves were supposed to protect the cauliflower from scorching in the sun, so I looked at Bonnie Plants' website and, sure enough, it pretty much said that. This was Snow Crown. It said that it would mature in 50-70 days, but it grew so FAST. I planted it when it was cold (from little plants from the garden store) and it just sat there. Then we had a week of very warm weather and a week of rainy weather and then I had to cut it because it was overgrown. I don’t think it was in the ground 30 days. Should I try it again in the fall?
