Also “Black Adder” if we’re talking British stuff.
“I Love Lucy”
“The Mary Tyler Moore Show”
“Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea”
I’ll give a hearty “2nd” to the nomination of NCIS.
It’s a very good show, in my opinion. I’m getting ready to purchase the first couple seasons of that one myself.
Yeah. I read a lot but don’t post much.
do u love the 80’s references? :)...lol
Worth a Nexflix rental (if you have that) “Jericho”. I have it on DVD and have seen it a couple times.
I am also presently working my way through Dollhouse (also on Netflix) and at first it was a head-scratcher, but has turned out to be pretty good so far.
Never really bought the premise. Haven’t had desire to watch it.
I did wind up mentioning other ones down the page.
We talk a lot about the liberalism on PBS, but they have a lot of excellen progams. I'd go to their web site and check it out. Burns and Claudius are both there.
John Adams. HBO mini-series. Walmart has them cheap if you order online.
Rocky and Bullwinkle.
Bones is terrible. The plots are far too simplistic and contrived, and the premise that the titular character is frighteningly intelligent yet incapable of figuring out social niceties is unrealistic, especially since they haven’t stipulated that she’s borderline autistic/Asperger’s (which would be a nice twist if they could explore it seriously and not play it for laughs).
IMHO, go with Babylon 5, which is well thought-out since it was intended as a multi-year story. It’s a bit slow at the start, but really gets going in seasons 2 and 3, and has some very conservative (and relevant) political themes.
Oh I loved the Black Adder. I have a couple of episodes I taped from the tv. Incredibly funny stuff.
I also like Monty Python and Fawlty Towers.
I just finished watching the 90s TV series Early Edition ... ordered from Netflix.
Silly premise but I enjoyed it. It’s a nice escape.
Fringe.
LOL. Watching TV.
Dexter is my favorite, but it’s not for teens at all (and quite honestly, probably not good for anyone).
Terrible language, some nudity, and lots of sexual innuendos make it a bad show.
I guess that says a lot about me...
but my wife loves it too...
Battlestar Galactica
Still hysterical......The Honeymooners
Stargate SG-1.
