Question: How long will seeds last if I vacuum seal them?

I don't know if vacuum sealing the seeds would help, hurt or totally destroy the seeds, but seeds stored in extremely dry conditions have germinated after thousands of years. There will be some reduction in germination rates, but as long as you keep the seeds reasonably dry, cool and away from vermin they should be OK for any length of time you would be worried about.

I have planted garden seeds kept in a freezer for 5 years or more and had > 50% germination.
