Hello,
Can you believe a company is Scottsdale is actually PUTTING ON a protest of the Arizona law?
1. Please email Roslyn Kagy at rally@lush.com and tell her that companies should NOT be political and should not be putting on protests! And that you will never buy their products again.
2. Since this is a franchise, please call & email the main US corporate office and let them know what this franchise store is doing since this reflects poorly on the brand name for the whole company!
Here is the email and phone # for the main US site: http://www.lushusa.com/customers/contact-us/
Here is the store in Arizona's website advertising the rally:

LUSH Scottsdale Protests SB 1070
WHEN: Monday, May 17, 2010 , 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM
WHERE: LUSH Scottsdale | 7014 E. Camelback Rd. #1020 | 480.946.5874
On Friday, April 23rd, Arizona Governor, Jan Brewer signed SB 1070 into effect, which has caused an international outpouring of responses. SB 1070 allows Arizona police officers to stop, interrogate, and detain anyone who appears to be an illegal immigrant. This has essentially legalized racial profiling and is an affront on our civil rights. LUSH wants The State of Arizona to clean up its act, stop SB 1070, and protect the human rights of all people. Scottsdale is the site of our May 2010 Managers Meetings. While many businesses are boycotting Arizona, LUSH was unable to change the location of our meeting. Instead, we are planning a rally to send the message to State of Arizona and nation that LUSH does not support SB 1070. We'll be sending a gigantic letter to the Governor and Obama expressing our opposition and celebrating LUSH as an international company for international customers (and run by international people). Support our campaign against SB 1070 and join us at the SE corner of Scottsdale Fashion Square on Monday, May 17th, between the hours of 2:30 and 6:00 pm, for our Clean Up Your Act, Arizona! rally. We'll be wearing shower caps and robes and shower curtain and bathtub sandwich boards, carrying protest placards, creating visual art and verbalizing key messages. We have signage, but please feel free to dress up, make signs, and express yourself in whatever way you choose. Please help us take a stand for human rights! For further information, please contact Roslyn Kagy at rally@lush.com.
Lush, huh? (hic*)
Obviously alot of Latino customers
Otherwise it wouldn’t give a damn
Liberal shop, catering to liberal clientle. Of course they don’t want the illegals deported, who’ll handle the kids, cook the dinner, clean the tub after the bath, so their customers can indulge themselves in a five dollar bath bomb.
What, for example, would be a LUSH product? Those of us that do not live in Scottsdale, and we are many, would appreciate being given just a bit more information.
Every Freeper needs to do this.

The store produces bathroom and shower products and hand-made cosmetics.
Nope, a shop catering to the wealthy who use those illegals for everything from gardening and pool care to cleaning the toilet and wiping their children’s bums.
Ping!
Activism opportunity!
It’s apparently some kind of handmade cosmetics store in a very plush part of Scottsdale. Somehow I seriously doubt this is even going to get off the ground.
I believe it is a (cosmetics company). If the owners are America citizens they should be ashamed of themselves for trying to thwart an existing law.
It’s a world-wide company.
This is the Scottsdale store from a couple of years ago:
Scottsdale shop employees get naked for a cause
8/28/2008
Workers at LUSH Cosmetics at Scottsdale Fashion Square joined a nation-wide protest by wearing nothing but aprons on Wednesday.
They said it’s all part of an anti-packaging campaign to urge customers to buy naked goods and purchase products free of packaging.
Exactly why there should be a HUGE fine for any company hiring illegals.
How about, say, $1000 per day an illegal is working there.
Maybe our 17% unemployment rate would go down a bit?
Please call or email their Headquarters and tell them what their store in Arizona is doing (I bet they don’t know).

In Arizona if you are caught there is a fine and you could lose your business license.
Better yet, a one-year mandatory jail sentence (preferably at the Arapaio resort) for the CEO. Fines are looked upon as a cost of doing business. Jailtime with Bruno The Lonely might be a better deterrent.
I have spent a lot of money there. Not at the Scottsdale location but in London and New Orleans.
Would you consider writing a letter to their head office telling them how offensive you find their Scottsdale franchisee?
ok, I will boycott. I bought some soap a while back will NOT be going back
