“Laura Bush just lost some of the respect I had for her.”

Whenever she opens her mouth on somwthing political, I know she is in the wrong party.

A classy, pretty lady, with all the brains of a real lib.

I lost the little respect I ever had for the Bushs’ in George’s Second Term.

Who cares?

A. Bush is no longer POTUS
B. Laura will never be POTUS
C. We have MUCH bigger fish to fry in this country than Homos pretending they are married.

I agree with everything you said except:

“There would’ve been admired and respected if had lived among the founding fathers. “

The Founding Fathers admired intelligence.

I cannot find fault in your assessment.

The last I checked Laura is not running for any office, and like any wife, is entitled to her own opinion.

Do you have a working link to the video and the date it aired?

I avoid everything ‘Larry King’ like the plague!

She hedged

She's always wishy-washy. I've noticed that about her all along. Like a little robot or Stepford wife or something.

And when she's asked about Christianity, she makes these vague, nice little statements like, "Our faith means a lot to us." She won't ever come out and make a definite statement about anything.

I think she's a nice-looking lady and was a classy First Lady as far as representing the country at foreign funerals, etc. Unlike Hillary, she always dressed appropriately and behaved in a classy manner. But she's a lib and she's wishy-washy!!!!

As does Dick Cheney.

Sad isn’t it.

Cammie, you simply don’t get it.

The homosexual Community wants parity in every way with normal people. A “domestic union” has been approved in many states - New Jersey is one of them. But even here they want their relationships to be recognized as a MARRIAGE - just like normal people.

Because to their way of thinking, their lifestyle IS normal. That is why they want your kids to read “Susie Has Two Mommies” in school. That is why they try to force themselves into St. Patric’s Day Parades. And that is why we need to stop pretending that what they do is normal or desirable. What people want to do in the privacy of their own homes is their business, but they have no right asking us to approve it.

Of course most of us love and respect them as men.

But most of us knew he was running as a “compassionate conservative”, he said he wanted to work with Dems, he wanted open boarders, and he wanted a prescription drug bill.

And in the Republican primary, he was really the only choice at that time. I was OK with it, hoping the Repubs in Congress would fight him on most of it.

Then 9/11 happened, and much changed.

But that was then and this is now.

I would imagine that most of us would no longer put up with a Republican who says he wants to work with Dems, after what the Dems have put us through for the last 10 years.

"Who cares."

Precisely....however, there are many who are energized by any opportunity to express their ire. ;-)

You are wrong, and when bigots like you die off (and it can’t come soon enough) gay persons and straight persons can marry the person of their choice, M or F, and no one will care or blink an eye. Laura was right, it is a generational thing, just like your generation/your parents’ generation didn’t let white people and black people drink out of the same water fountains. Being gay is not immoral, it is perfectly normal, and being anti-gay goes AGAINST conservatism.

I believe she is United Methodist, a denomination that openly supports sodomy and Marxism.

I wonder what the Creator of the Universe thinks about divorce, those who have divorced, or those who support the right to divorce? After all, DIVORCE IS FORBIDDEN IN THE BIBLE!

Why is it that you think you are entitled to detailed answers about her personal beliefs regarding Christianity?

Thanks for the prayers for my early demise. In today’s politically correct world, “bigotted” has been confounded with “discriminating” and “judgmental” which have in turn become negative terms.

If homosexuality was “normal” how come it doesn’t produce offspring??

There have been very few societies in history which condoned homosexuality as a cultural norm, and most of them collapsed shortly thereafter from within.

I don’t care what you do in the privacy of your home with consenting partners. Just don’t tell me that I have to accept it as “normal”.

Divorce is NOT forbidden in the Bible. Adultery and abandonment are grounds for legitimate divorce.
