I wonder how many of these people realize how it makes Black people look here in Asia, where most of what we see is black stereotypes instead of hard working people...
People going in and doing a normal job doesn’t really make for exciting television. Jazz musicians in a city rebuilding does though.
It sounds like there are other characters in the show who are hardworking people who aren’t musicians. Not to slight how hard musicians work.
