BORDER Crisis SOLVED by the RIGHT TO CARRY LAW (at least in TX)

Yet another Crisis on the Border needing some thinking outside the box of Ammo. I would Propose Building GUN RANGES, complete with HUGE shooting Berms right on the Border in Texas...the Remote parts of the Border, of course. Maybe within faint Hearing distance of a local town (either side)?

I would Propose Building GUN RANGES, complete with HUGE shooting Berms right on the Border in Texas...the Remote parts of the Border, of course. Maybe within faint Hearing distance of a local town (either side)? The Constant Gunfire at all hours of the day and Nite, right on the Texas Border, would Echo the other side's seemingly constant gunfire of late. After all, Americans have to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights in a way that exercises their Imigration Laws ? Might even work for Arizona, also. Maybe some 50 caliber Long range or Scope sighting ranges would also be good ? no telling what you can see in those Scopes, looking towards the Border. And of course, warning sign would have to be posted, facing SOUTH. But hey, lets keep to the Remote unsettled sites of the Border....you know, where there are no "Facilities" for Border Traffic. Gun Ranges in the Country, Sun and Fun, the louder the better (Do wear some NASCAR EAR PLUGS). Yep, I think this may Stimulate the Economy and reduce Immigration at the same time.

I think the U.S. military needs to go back to napalm and flamethrowers against the cartels. Everyone wants to be so cool proposing smart bombs and missiles. But napalm is a gift that keeps on giving.

Wondering if the berms are really necessary. Just a thought. ;)

Rick Perry needs to grow a pa*r. Texas needs to dump Kay Bailey and John Cronyn. Get senators like JD Hayworth.

I like it. But won’t the berms remove one of the disincentives to trying to cross the border illegally?

A whole lot cheaper, too!

I propose building a wide canal between the USA and Mexico linking the Gulf of Mexico with the Pacific Ocean. It will facilitate shipping, give the owners of the land some waterfront property and will become a tourist mecca. Guessing that a wide canal will also be easier to control in terms of drug/people smuggling. Add to that the number of jobs that will be created in the building of said canal, and the jobs that will come from the businesses that spring up along the canal—should be a useful venture.

Is it a huge undertaking? Of course.

You’re thinking is “Inside” the Ammo Box, make an adjustment (for the wind). Besides, We would have to call out the Emergency crews too often if we removed the Berms, and the Illegals wouldn’t have Health Coverage (YET).

Maybe Paper Target Outlines with “Sombrero’s” would be a Good idea ?.....remember, think outside the Ammo Box.

OK, so I like your idea too. How about a canal with the gun ranges on our side of it?

I’m flexible. Gun ranges are fine. Heck, seems to me that there should be a market for such places. I’m thinking target practice, shooting instruction, and whatever it takes to get concealed carry permits all conveniently located.
