I was using MaxSecure's Max Registry Cleaner until I got this global warming support email from them today. Their gone from my home. Any others worth using?

Sophos has a free root kit cleaner.
CCleaner.com has a registry cleaner as well. It is also free.

Yes - boot an Ubuntu cdrom and type “dd if=/dev/null of=/dev/hda”
Now - don’t REALLY do this - it’ll wipe your disk, which from us Linux bigots would be your first step to redemption.
I use Glary Registry Cleaner...it’s free-ware.
No kidding. Mine was up for renewal in 10 days and I just sent them an email telling them why I won’t be doing that.
