Seven months after his release from a Scottish prison on "compassionate" grounds, and four months after prostate cancer was supposed to have killed him, Pan Am Flight 103 bomber Abdelbaset al-Megrahi has had a miraculous turn for the better, death-wise. How very surprising. He was to get liberty and death.......turns out it is another scam.
I honestly think that the preference for death over enslavement is what separates us from much of the world. How many of us would have gotten into the death cars to Ravensbruck? There are many stories that Americans prior to our involvement stood up to the Nazi’s tyranny. How many of us would have risked our lives and fought back against the brutal overseers of many plantations? Is it better to be enslaved and hope for a rescue?
I don’t think so. My heroes stuck it out on Masada. We threw of the shackles of English tyranny when it became onerous.
Now, we’re going to have to do so again. Caligula, just like his Luo ancestors sold their own race into slavery, is seeking to put chains around us. MAY IT NEVER BE!
