I have found I avoid problems when I discuss all the movies I enjoy (especially Avatar & ones starring Johnny Depp). Also I get points by sharing my vegetarian diet & love of various athletes, such as Brett Favre and Pete Rose and most recently LeBron James. Posting full AP articles or photos always wins points as the mods show their admiration by sending me special notes. Throwing in cursing & racial hits will always impress people
