THE UNITED STATES ICE HOCKEY TEAM HAS DEFEATED CANADA 5-3!!
This day has seen some of the best hockey I’ve ever seen. The Russia/Czech game was awesome; however, this Canada/US game was a classic! Wow!
I was going Mike Lange on some of those saves by Miller...(”What Robbery! He’ll get 5 to 10 for those...”)...and then the 3rd Canadian goal looked like the softest goal I’ve ever seen...which is, of course, great for the other team to score...
And then we just couldn’t clear the bloody puck, and when we did, it was in their empty net! i may just have to find somewhere to watch with friends, if we get to a medal round game...even in Southern Cal, I should be able to find a place!
(of course, if we do win the gold, Hussein will get another award for something he didn’t do...just damn...)
Canada has gone quiet.
It’s gonna take a lot of beer to drown their grief.
I don’t care if that last one went off langdenbrunner’s skate, Rafalski had a hat trick tonight.
My son and I are debating that right now.
Will Obama be out Monday morning to apologize to Canada?
WOOOOOHOOOOOO! The ONLY event I have watched this entire Olympics. Congratulations Team USA! Great game.
I heard Rafalski in an interview one time say that he’s a political junkie, and that he loves to listen to conservative talk radio.
Looks like a truly good guy got himself semi-immortalized tonight. Good.
If it makes any of the Canadians reading this feel any better, I WOULD have been pulling for Team Canada had they beat the US of A.
My ex-wife is SO UNHAPPY! :)
Good! From someone who spent 6 yeas teaching in South Korea surrounded by a-hole Canadians.....FU Canada!!
I wonder if anyone at NBC is regretting bumping the hockey game over to cable...
I heard recently that Chris Pronger is a naturalized US citizen and a Republican. Too bad he was playing for the wrong team tonight.
Did you see the panic on Costas’ face? He knew that NBC BLEW IT once again.
Too bad I missed the Olympics, but there was a great NBA game on ESPN. Stephen Curry and CJ Watson led a big 4th quarter comeback as Golden Sate upset Atlanta.
If you don't know how to spell suppress, you are a dummy.
Nobody seems to care about the goals in hockey. People seem to be interested only in the fights.
I live in a border state to Canada...in most things I wish them well...but they’re behavior at some of the curling events...stomping feet etc..and their arrogant “own the podium” crap....well, its just too much...
Excellent
