Chihuahuas don’t know they’re little. They see no difference between a Saint Bernard and themselves.
Thats cuz their brains are stunted along with their bodies.
Actually, to be serious, they are pretty smart dogs. Not as smart as a border collie or an australian cattle dog, but smarter than the average dog.
My grandfather claimed the best pheasant dog he ever had was part chihuahua.
Until they try mounting one :>)

Yep. I was down at my Son’s the other night and they had company who brought their dog over. She was a large German Shepherd Husky mix. Looked like a wolf.
Son’s Chihuahua jumped off his lap and then jumped up and bit her on the shoulder. Luckily the big dog just ignored the Chihuahua.
