Whether the show returns for Season 9 is still up in the air, though apparently Sutherland is up for it.

I think the concept is that they lose the real-time, and do 24-hours over one movie. Not sure though.

It so much better than 24. I can't stand to hear Jack whisper any more so I didn't watch last night. It is the first time in years I didn't watch. It does not appeal to me this year.

So, if they make it an extra-long movie, coming in at nearly 180 minutes, will they call it “3”?

I used to think this was a great idea but after the Lifetime Movie Network writers have butchered this season I’m not so sure. I want to tune out but I can’t help but think Jack will get his mojo back and I’ll start seeing a lot hugh and series explosions and gunfights.
