The 'language warning' is due to one particular word in the description of the proposed Seal as well as the word's umm...use...in this context, which although may not technically violate Free Republic rules, it paints a rather 'earthy' picture that I would prefer not to bring into the living rooms of nice folks. Since the source has to be edited for posting at FR anyway, I thought that I would simply leave that for people to read who wanted to click on the link and read the full story. That being said, the word is a legitimate anatomical term but used in a way that might cause discomfort for some. You should click on the link if you aren't easily offended, because I think that Mr. Vaughn makes some great points and is illustrating the frustrations that many of us feel here in Washington State.

"Jim Vaughn, a retired military officer," This man comes across as a right wing extremist.
Big Sis Jan(et) Napolitano told me to be aware of these "retired" military guys.
Lock Vaughn up, he is an enemy of the State.

“Washington state has “lost a significant portion of our industrial base resulting in a high unemployment rate” while the state government “continues to grow and spend at unsupportable rates by increasing taxes at a time when our citizens can least afford it.”
................................................Big Government
What Mr. Vaughn says is true.
I had a very good supplier / manufacturer from Washing
state who just recently packed up their factory and moved to China.
Told me it was that or bankruptcy.
I don't by from them anymore.

Spokane resident 1975. I recognized at that time that the tax structure, and politics, was anti citizen. Things have not improved. Obviously! Beautiful state, if you can afford to live there. It appears that this particular point in time is going to result in a reality check for most state governments, and the word sustainability, is going to take on a whole new meaning, unrelated to radical environmentalism.

Of course Washington state is in a mess. The RATS stole the governors election. They know they can get away with it, why worry about what some irrelevant voters say?
