MEMPHIS, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Police in Tennessee said a woman who argued with her boyfriend drove at speeds of up to 60 mph with her beau on the hood of her car.
Memphis police said Corrine Hines-Smith, 32, left the home of boyfriend Jerome Simmons, 40, after 8 p.m. Tuesday and Simmons jumped on the hood of her car while she was pulling away, the Memphis Commercial-Appeal reported Wednesday.
"Officers were working traffic, and they clocked her doing 60," Lt. Jerry Gwyn said of Hines-Smith, "then they noticed this man on her hood."
Police pulled the car over and Hines-Smith was arrested for aggravated assault. They said Simmons was unharmed.
Deers everywhere are appalled at the double standard.
I have been busted for riding on the roof of a car, in excess of 70mph, on I-5 in So Cal. but the driver was not charged.
Outside of the car activities in various forms, used to be a favorite pastime of mine.
I guess he doesn’t watch Mythbusters.
Kind of reminds me of Police Academy with Fackler driving and his wife was on the hood. Then they switch in PA 3: back in training
The NOW crowd (or NAGS as Rush calls them) would want the big bad man charged for jumping on the poor defenseless widdle woman’s car.
Chris Henry alert!
Then it’s a good thing Romney’s Irish Setter didn’t get arrested on that vacation jaunt.
Not very bright, is he?
Was there ever any explanation why they didn’t arrest Chris Henry’s girlfriend?
