I hear ya. On the other side here too. I am paying just about that as well so she can maintain her “lifestyle”. Dont mind paying for my kids, thats just the right thing to do. But alimoney is BS. Bitter here. Divorce sux after 17 years of marriage.
I didn’t have any kids. Mine were grown and moved out. She had some teenagers.
I ended up paying for their health insurance! No child support, but the health insurance cost me another 600 bucks a month on top of the spousal support.
Plus she sold my boat/motor/trailer! Court didn’t care about that either.
So ask my why I will never get married again!
