Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy has reportedly died in Los Angeles.
Murphy, 32, went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, entertainment website TMZ reports. An emergency call was made about 8am Sunday morning (3am today AEDT) from husband Simon Monjack's home, the Los Angeles Fire Department was quoted as saying.
She was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center but pronounced dead on arrival. Murphy was born in Atlanta and began acting as a young teenager in a series of television appearances.
Her breakthrough role was in the 1995 teen hit Clueless alongside Alicia Silverstone. She went on to appear in critically acclaimed films including 8 Mile opposite rap star Eminem and the comic book adaption Sin City.

Clueless (the film, not you), 8 Mile, Spun
I know these may be niche movies but Clueless especially is part of the pop culture landscape.

I know of it but have never seen it.
Well, 32 is too young, whether I know her work or not.

TMZ had pretty much the exact same story about her husband just last month. Just change the names and that he was revived/ her not revived from cardiac arrest. I don’t keep up with celebs, so was it drugs or what?
Sad. Her movies were funny.

She was pretty good in the movie, "Don't Say a Word", with Michael Douglas as a psychiatrist, and Sean Bean as a bad guy looking for her.
So sad, she was so young.

Not that anyone cares, but I think she was engaged to Ashton Kutcher before he hooked up with Demi.
