Saw the 3D version earlier today. I really enjoyed it...probably will see it again. Its definately better than any of the new star wars movies. As far as the anti-american message, you just have to take it with a grain of salt, its not anything you havent seen 100 other times in hollywood. That being said, the theater wasnt even a quarter full, and there was no great crowd waiting to get into the next showing. It better get really good word of mouth...
Isn't it funny that those on this thread who have actually seen it have good things to say about it as opposed to those who, having seen nothing, are all too ready to use it as a means of doing some sort of political bashing? This is pretty revealing both of their motives as well as their artistic integrity.

I actually SAW the movie, in 3D.
I loved it, and will be seeing it again. Probably multiple times, which is a lot more than I can say for the vast majority of movies I see.
