Sarah Palin may draw ecstatic crowds in "real America," but among Republican insiders in Washington, she's not so popular.
National Journal's annual Insiders Poll issue will come out Friday, but we've got some early results; the most interesting finding is how many GOP insiders and members of Congress listed Palin as one of their least favorite members of the party.
Palin was the top response when 85 GOP strategists and insiders were asked, "Which voice in your party would you most like to mute?" 28 percent listed Palin; Republican National Committee Chairman Michael came in second, with 12 percent.

In other words: She makes the RINOs squirm. Good!
Good for Sarah. I hope those “RNC insiders” develop a serious case of heartburn over her.
Seems to me that the Republican “elite” are so out of touch with their base that it would probably be better if they just all head out of town anyway
NO RINOS! Palin in 2012! She’s the only one I trust to NEVER turn into a RINO.
You can tell Sarah isn’t about to give any of these folks job during her campaign or listen to their voices advice from afar.
It is very good news
Who was doing the asking?
Since the GOP no longer seems to listen to the PEOPLE, perhaps that is a GOOD thing.
The GOP elites will get their comeuppance in 2012.
I would like to find a complete list of RINOs so I can start campaigning AGAINST them.
100% of Rebel REpublicans want to Mute Rinos.
Pray for America’s Freedom
I think of Ms. Palin as a conservative rather than a Republican. If that means a third party... So be it.
I don’t recognize anyone as “elite”. A few fat cats appointed themselves to royalty status but I’m not impressed!
Excellent. I rue the day these weasels jump on the Palin bandwagon, as they will because they like gravy trains more than priciples.
Funny, she seems to be uniting and igniting the base.
Run for Prez on the Consrvative/Tea Party ticket. When the momentum becomes so huge, the GOP will have no choice but draft her or form a coalition to bring the Tea Party into the GOP.
Sarah is grassroots, the biggest nightmare there is for establishment Republicans. She is everything they aren’t and attracting support they can never have. She represents what most Americans think, what most Americans want, while establishment Republicans are so embedded in the corrupt system they can’t extricate their heads from big government butt. I prefer Sarah’s viewpoint.
