Calf's blood. What a slime. This doping and the other work by this doc sound like enhancing and possibly steroids. Where is the PGA? No wonder he stiffed the cops on the blood test. We may yet have a Barry Bonds moment soon.

Someone posted a picture and his forearms were HUGE. Don’t they test for drugs in the PGA? Or is it be cause he is “Tiger Woods”?

The PGA started mandatory drug testing a week after Tiger went into have his knee worked on and he may have “dried out” for 8 months during recovery.

The PGA has two sets of rules - Tiger’s rules and the other “peons” on the PGA tour.

My admiration for Tiger is undiminished. He messed up, for sure. So what’s that to us? He’ll learn from his mistakes and face up to the consequences. Cheating on your wife is very wrong but can you imagine the pressure and temptations he’s faced?
Here is a reason to love Tiger. Have you seen the speech he gave at Obama’s inauguration:

‘his forearms were HUGE.’

Serious? That’s an indication of steroids?

When you see a story like this explode, a lot of the stuff was already known. Limbaugh read an editorial, and supposedly inside the PGA and with golf reporters, a lot of the stuff about women and steroids was common knowledge, but everyone kept quiet because Tiger was a cash cow.

My guess is that a lot of people REALLY disliked him, but wouldn't take on his PR machine or the rest of the media. When it broke, everyone was waiting to pile on.

Tiger fan boy alert. You have low standards.

What is that to us? A lot of us are sick of the fake image, media handling, double standards and phoniess like Obama. He is packaged just like Obama and a friend of Obama. The PGA has rules for him and he is a fake creation like Obama.

The same threat of being ruined if you spoke up. Right now tv and radio hosts plus their employers are under the same threat if they mention Obama’s birth certificate.

Tiger and Obama and their handlers manipulate the same way. The PGA’s reputation is tarnished in all of this as well as Tiger lackeys - the Golf Channel, Golf Magazine, Golf Digest etc etc. All owned by lib fawing media companies. ABC/Disnesy, CNN/Time Warner and Newhouse.

Despite the creative image similarities, there's a huge difference between Woods and Obama. Woods demands nothing of anyone. All he has done, that I have seen has been impressive. Unlike Obama, I've actually had a number of opportunities to observe Woods at close range and the worst thing I've seen him do has been to get mildly upset when he wasn't playing well. And everyone is free to ignore him. Would that it were so with Obama.

Woods is a fallen man. Obama is evil.

Limbaugh covered this here."

The money quote:

And where you find a hoax, what do you always have to have to perpetrate it? You have to have a compliant media, be it a global warming hoax, be it a financial crisis hoax, you have to have a compliant media going along with it. And the media in the Tiger Woods thing was also a beneficiary. I mean television ratings, golf tournaments in which he played skyrocketed. And they wanted access to him. A lot of sports media, just groupies that have a computer keyboard or camera and microphone, just groupies. They want access, want to hang around.

The only way you're going to have that access is to go silent on things that you know. If you succeed and are helpful in perpetrating the false image, the hoax, then you're going to be allowed access. See, the behavior of Tiger Woods was known to everybody except the public. They're shocked and stunned, and they feel betrayed. "This industry-wide cover-up of Woods' cheating (and apparently his personal nastiness, arrogance, and general non-cuddly nature) is not a small, secret plot by dedicated fanatics. Rather, it is a set of interlocking self-interests manifested in sustaining the pristine image of this one sports icon to keep cash coming in. But enough about Tiger the man, who is, after all, only a golfer. Let's move on to Tiger the metaphor. Because anyone with four functioning brain cells gets that if this comprehensive a charade can be sustained for a decade as Woods and those around him amassed billions, it can happen elsewhere. It can happen right in front of our eyes.

He's reading from Lisa Schiffren, so I'm not sure which of it is him and which is her, but I've thought this about journalism, particularly with sports and celebrities, for quite a while. If you're not part of the PR machine, you're out in the alley.

Yes, Rush nails it. The media handles politicians exactly the same way...

The most enlightening aspect of the Tiger Meltdown, is the revelation that the media is far more corrupt than we could have ever imagined.

Most golfers have large forearms. It’s just the nature of what muscles tend to get used the most in the golf swing.

Tom Watson and Arnold Palmer looked like Popeye.

I’ve been playing since I was 7. I’m not particularly muscular, but my forearms are bigger than my biceps.

But you know Tiger may have cheated on his wife but that’s not illegal.

However if she hit him with a golf club, that IS an assault, yet that is a point that seems to be shoved under the rug.

If a man caught his wife cheating and beat her with a golf club what do you think the news would be?

Demands nothing from anyone? Appearence fees which are illegal but he found away around that. Paid as an amateur by Nike and others which is also illegal but they paid dad. The club throwing, the swearing, ignoring kids looking for autgraphs. Any other player on the tour pulled that crap they would be in front of the PGA and Tim Finchem but the PGA has two sets of rules.

While athletes such as sprinters would not think twice about using an analgesic to get through a one-off event such an Olympic final, using pain-killers routinely during the golf season would be risking even more serious injury and could potentially cut short a golfer’s career.

Wonder if that is how he was able to play that tournament with his bad knee

The PGA has two sets of rules - Tiger’s rules and the other “peons” on the PGA tour.

I am willing to bet the other PEONS didn't mind one bit that Tiger was protected

Just look at the prize $$$$ once he hit the tour

The PEONS were also the beneficiary of all those purse increases

And I bet even now they are POed that he got caught

$$$$$ is the big motivator in life
