Amid all the headlines generated by Tiger Woods' troubles — the puzzling car accident, the suggestions of marital turmoil and multiple mistresses — little attention has been given to the race of the women linked with the world's greatest golfer.
Except in the black community.
When three white women were said to be romantically involved with Woods in addition to his blonde, Swedish wife, blogs, airwaves and barbershops started humming, and Woods' already tenuous standing among many blacks took a beating.
On the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner radio show, Woods was the butt of jokes all week.
"Thankfully, Tiger, you didn't marry a black woman. Because if a sister caught you running around with a bunch of white hoochie-mamas," one parody suggests in song, she would have castrated him.

After Tiger went on Opra and told her he wasn’t black or whatever she called him, I’m not surprized.
Woods himself is one-quarter Chinese, one-quarter Thai, one-quarter African American, one-eighth Native American, and one-eighth Dutch.
So he is one-half Asian, one quarter African, one eighth NA, and one eighth European. So in balance, he is Asian, not black.
Not black enough eh? This article is as racist as it is insulting. It assumes all blacks in the “community” feel the same way about race. Who makes up the “community” besides elite liberals like Sharpton and Jackson?
If Tiger would have slaughtered his blond white wife (and a white companion) and then left in a white ford bronco would the “community” have then rallied around him?

It is the dishonesty of his carefully crafted public image that I detest.
Joe Namath was a rogue, but he never tried to deceive the public about it.

Sadly, this is probably true. I remember watching a televised debate between Orin Hatch and Jesse Jackson on gun control years ago, in which Hatch was against control, Jackson for it. I remember Hatch saying: "If you removed the number of violent crimes committed by blacks between the ages of 17 and 30, the US would have a lower crime rate than Great Britain." I waited for the sparks to fly...

Jackson knew that Hatch's statistics were likely unquestionable. As to the Woods joke, it simply reflects the black culture's attitude about how conflict is resolved. Whether it's a televised sucker punch at the end of a college football game or shooting someone because he took your parking place, for reasons I don't understand, many blacks seem to have a hard time controlling their tempers. While castrating Woods for his transgressions is a "funny" solution to some, it just baffles me.
This marxist quota boy has only hurt racial healing in this country.
Why is Tiger Woods expected to have any sort of “standing” with any community?
When we hear constantly that Clarence Thomas isn't really black (or have black values) and he is not true to his race you really have to wonder who does set the standard? So as long as the Je$$e is allowed to speak for the community then we'll have this doublespeak.
