F-15 Landing With One Wing

What do you do when a wing is torn off your F15? If you are Captain Zivi Nedivi, of the Israeli air force, you break off from your training exercise and return to base. You've only got one wing, but you make up for that by flying twice as fast. This really happened, over the Negev desert. The F15 Eagle collided with an A4 Skyhawk.

Not to nitpick or demean this pilot’s performance but the upside down aircraft shown at 52 seconds into the video is NOT an A4. Look at the egg-shaped air intake, looks more like a Sukhov or a Mig.

Not to nitpick or demean this pilots performance but the upside down aircraft shown at 52 seconds into the video is NOT an A4. Look at the egg-shaped air intake, looks more like a Sukhov or a Mig.

MD said that it wasnt possible to fly an F15 with one wing missing. I guess they had to change that to "not recommended." :)
