Well Stoopsie will get a big fat raise again after Notre Dame comes a courting. It’s a lot better than it used to be when teams could have 100+ scholarships and teams would recruit players just so they wouldn’t go to a rival school, even though they’d be second or third on the depth chart.

It’s because of the lower number of scholarships that Boise State, TCU and Cincinnati can field competitive teams.
