Accountability and righteousness in our dealings applies to both the left, middle, and right spectrums of politics.

For whatever reason Huckabee pardoned not just this loser, but all the rest, he chose to do it even when the prosecutors and victims told him not to do it.

It now rests on his head where it belongs.

Why is not fair?

First of all, it is a corruption of the legal system that an elected official can commute sentences. But some politicians, being more virtuous than the rest of us, are just more sensitive to nuanced subtleties of criminal justice. They have to feel this way. Otherwise, why would they incur the political risk especially if they have further political aspirations.

This sort of thing just keeps happening, but as far as I know, no state has revoked this power from their govenor.
