The dangers of revolutionary right-wing rhetoric (Tea partiers are racist blah blah)

In 1898, this city was years ahead of the rest of the American South, building an inclusive, interracial political culture. It had a burgeoning black middle class. A new era of hope dawned in North Carolina.

But the losers in the 1896 elections, the white Democrats, sulked on the margins, threatened by political irrelevance. Their sense of entitlement to governance had just been rejected by white progressives and black voters. "Take back the state," became their battle cry.

And they did just that. On Nov. 9, some Wilmington whites issued a White Declaration of Independence, proclaiming "that we will no longer be ruled ... by men of African origin."

The next day, a vigilante group of armed supremacists forcibly removed the Republican city leaders (both black and white) from office, and took control, burning buildings and shooting blacks. The official death toll was fewer than 20, though African-American oral tradition

It’s not racism that opposes the Obama agenda but ignorance which supports it.

In the words of Justice Holmes,

"...when men have realized that time has upset many fighting faiths, they may come to believe even more than they believe the very foundations of their own conduct that the ultimate good desired is better reached by free trade in ideas - that the best test of truth is the power of the thought to get itself accepted in the competition of the market, and that truth is the only ground upon which their wishes safely can be carried out."

It's been said that one never truly appreciates something until they have lost it. For the majority of Americans it is difficult to imagine what the loss of freedom and liberty is like. Many can't imagine living in a country where you can be arrested for you say or write. Like many of you, growing up in America I had always taken my liberty and freedom for granted. That all changed when I moved overseas and discovered firsthand that it is our love of freedom and liberty that has made our country an exceptional nation, it is today what we fight for.

I have seen America's future and if we don't fight now, we will lose all that we have fouhgt for.

Our forefathers before and our brave soldiers today are fighting and sacrificing their lives for freedom and liberty, not for diversity, respect, tolerance, "politcal correctness" or for that matter "Hope" and "Change".

Stand up for freedom and liberty. Until patriotic Americans are willing to spill blood our nation will be doomed. We are under attack and have been for a long time. Freedom and liberty are not free, they come with a price.

Enough of the talking, enough of the tea parties, enough of the writing congressmen...enough!

We are not only at war overseas, we are at war at home - a civil war that has been brewing for years. It is time for states and citizens to choose - either secede or fight.

Or...Even arrested for no reason at all, or because a neighbor or relative is envious or in a snit over something petty.

myself6 and expatguy,

So?...What's the plan when the Marxists follow you into the new country of your creation? Huh?

What's the plan when the Marxists infiltrate the schools, media, literature, music, and arts in your new state?

Do you “get it”? What we are contending with here is a war of ideas that has been festering for several generations in every nook and cranny of the **world**. Believe me. I live in one of the reddest of the red states. Marxism is alive and well here!

I have posted many times that Marxism is our nation's most serious threat, and that **SCHOOLS** are their MOST powerful weapon against us.

Questions that suggest a **peaceful** solution:

**If the Marxist nest of Harvard can have an endowment of 35 BILLION then why aren't conservatives building endowments for conservative and PRIVATE K-12 education?

If we could have young adults who in their K-12 years were fully educated in their faith and nation's founding principles filling to the brim our nation's college classrooms their Marxist college professors would wither before them! In 10 to 20 short years these young people would be occupying the most powerful positions of our culture.

***Why aren't conservatives working to SHUT DOWN EVERY GOVERNMENT K-12 SCHOOL IN THIS NATION?

Simply by attending a government K-12 school children learn to be completely comfortable with government taking money from their neighbor to pay for something their parents want for FREE!! Do this every day for 13 years and you WILL get a population of voters who are comfortable voting for the Federal Reserve, the IRS, direct election of Senators, FDR's New Deal, Johnson's Great Society, a thousand other paper cuts of socialism, and, now, a communist OBAMA!

Simply by attending government schools ( which must godless in their worldview) children learn to be either atheistic, at worst, or to compartmentalize their faith into public and private spheres, at best.

Solution:

Conservatives must set up education foundations. The foundations would award grants to teachers willing to set tuition-free one room school houses. These schools would resemble the day care now provided by many women in their homes or day care centers. The foundation would test the students, certify the teachers, and provide the curriculum. The foundation would also organize community sports, theater, and arts programs.

While I don't like giving things away for free, we must do this initially since conservatives must match the price now charged by the government schools ( which are tuition-free). But...At least with charity the children learn gratitude. With socialist government school the children learn feelings of entitlement.

Finally, forget the churches!

There are too many government teachers and government school employees sitting in the pews. Few ministers will bite the hand putting money in the collection plate.

You are correct in all of your facts and premises. The war of ideas against the American Republic began within a generation or two of the countrys founding. I've said as much in my Fourth of July Tea Party Speech.

From a long view perspective, this battle is as old as humankind's discovery of agriculture: it's the struggle between those who claim the right to dictate the terms of existence to overyone, and those of us who know that no such 'right' exists.

But it took a particularly poisonous combination of ideas to converge over the last couple of hundred years to provide the excuses used by history's most monstrous mass murderers. The works Marx, Freud, B.F. Skinner and Nietzsche were the nuclear fuel rods that drove slaughter, atrocity and impoverishment that beggars the imagination and unequalled in kind only by the muderous mideavalist cult of Islam.

Nietzsche believed that the Will to Power would produce a new kind of messiah, uninhibited by religious sanctions, without moral restraint of any kind, and with an unappeasable appetite for controlling mankind. History is our witnes to the outcomes. And how did that 'will to power' express itself in our times? Jean-Francois Revel, writing over a century after Nietzsche, said of the Europeans in particular,

"It was they, after all, who made the twentieth century the darkest in history; it was they who brought about the two unprecedented cataclysms of two World Wars; and it was they who invented and put into place the two most criminal regimes ever inflicted on the human race - the pinnacles of evil and imbecility achieved in a space of less that thirty years."

Those pinnacales of evil and imbecility of which he spoke were, of course, Communism and National Socialism.

No one with any sense of history and human nature could fail to be dismayed at the suicidal course that our civilization has taken. It is, unfortunately, a well-trodden path to the graveyard of forgotten and failed civilizations. It remains to be see nwhether or not we can resurrect our own failing Republic before it's too late. Some might argue that it is already too late, but I think perhaps not. What so many of us fail to appreciate is the price we're going to accomplish that.

The evidence before us tels us that the soap box has failed (our protests and petitions for redress being roundly ignored when they're not being demonized.

The jury box has failed (our courts serve another master, not the rule of law and the Constitution)

The ballot box has failed (ACORN, corrupt politicians and gutless Republicans have seen to that)

The fourth box is all that remains.

They can’t drop the race card, if they do they will have to address the actual and multiple reasons we oppose Obama’s goals.

OK, One more time, Liberals, Lefties, Mush heads, and Fellow Travelers: It’s not about race. The President could be White (remember-he’s half white) or Yellow or Brown and the Conservatives would be against him. Its his policies and plans that have started this grass roots uprising. If he had governed from the center, cut taxes (as he promised in the election)there would be no Tea Parties. Race is smoke and mirrors set up to paint all who oppose Obama as a bunch of Yahoos and KKK members. It is not true. Many black people support the goals of the Tea Parties as can be said of other racial groups. Nuff Said.

Everything you just said will be far more likely to be done successfully if we secede. Otherwise... It won’t get done.

There is absolutely nothing to stop conservatives (right **now**) from **immediately** setting up educational foundations to issue grants to conservative K-12 teachers.

The problem is that conservatives are focused the trees ( individual legislative policies) and neglect to examine the entire forest ( the entire infiltration of our culture by the Marxists).

The Marxists are winning because they are fighting smarter! They have patience.

If Marxists can apply the principles of “demoralization” of our nation's youth ( described by Yuri Bezmenov), then surely conservatives ( RIGHT NOW!) can use the same methods to “re-moralize” our nation's children.

I do not disagree with the “spirit” of your message.

I am telling you that it will not be possible (on many levels) until we remove ourselves from the influence of the vast majority of the marxists and the idiots who vote for them.

A long and drawn out strategy WILL end in failure. Freedom from oppression (and that is exactly what we are talking about) will come suddenly or not at all. The longer we drag this on, the stronger the grip the marxists have on the people of this nation becomes. When they pass fedcare, the last remaining spark of the original revolution will be snuffed out.

Secession IS the only chance we have to be free.
