It's a lot cooler now but we still have some flowers hanging on. I spent about an hour at the county arboretum, it's a great place to just sit.
I saw the first flock of pelicans coming in today, a few singles have been around, but the migration is really rolling now. There will be ducks coming in any time.
Since I retired my schedule has revolved around the tides and seasons, don't count on me to show up on time for anything else!
The Snowy egrets are a hoot to watch. They spend more time and energy fighting among themselves than enjoying the easy pickings.

We’re so lucky that you like to spend time outdoors. These flowers are beautiful and the lighting is perfect.
