BEING a muslim is not going to be perceived as an issue by most people.
Being a terrorist / jihadi / sharia supporter will be perceived as a conflict of interest.
Unless you can provide evidence of the latter, nobody will pay attention to the former.

Pluralism is NOT the issue. The issue is this --- Not all terrorists are Muslims but most terrorism against the USA ( including the most recent one last week ) are perpetrated by Muslims.
Therefore, my question still stands --- HAVE THESE APPOINTEES AND THEIR LOYALTIES BEEN ADEQUATELY VETTED ?
There are many jobs Muslims can be hired for at the Federal level, but these are HOMELAND SECURITY POSTS. In light of the fact that we have been horribly attacked by DEVOUT MUSLIMS, I'm sure demanding CAREFUL VETTING is a reasonable demand.
