Maybe you should call Rush up then and tell him he doesn’t know what he is talking about.
Fact of the matter is, he has to have SOME form of licence to do what he is doing. Maybe it’s not a local broadcasting licence, but it surely has something to do with the FCC or other branch of federal government.
I know this because Rush has talked about it on his show.
Either way... doesn’t change the point I was making.
I think Rush is not covering the BC issue because of direct threat from the federal government.
No i was thinking of Rush, but i must be mistaken. It’s been years since i listened to him but i could’ve sworn that he came around on that. I stand corrected.

As a conservative, I am **completely** ticked that Rush and his colleagues have ignored Obama’s eligibility. Now, I see, that Rush is currently not only ignoring the issue, he is lying about it, too.

To answer the FCC license question, I believe that the FCC broadcaster’s license is owned by the radio station, not by individual hosts. So, Rush would not require such a license. However, FCC regulations placed upon radio stations could have an impact on him — as cited here: http://www.keeprushontheair.com/index.html
As for some *other* form of license that he would need in order to do what he is doing, I’ve never heard of one.

And if you’ve been involved in radio licensing for decades and already knew the answers to these questions, wouldn’t it have been better to just say that in the beginning and tell everyone what you know, rather than drag people slowly through a bunch of rather curtly evasive/elusive/opaque posts toward whatever point you are eventually planning to make with this?
