Has anyone else noticed the strike zone expands when the Yanks are pitching? Or does it always expand for the World Series?

I don’t even know where the strike zone is anymore. And baseball is my favorite sport.
That is is how pathetic the umpiring is.

Yep. But for both teams. It usually shrinks for the WS. That IMHO is why Atlanta had so much trouble in the WS. Their pitchers got outside/inside calls during the year and could not cope when the umps tightened the strike zone in the WS. I really want K-Zone for strikes and balls and replay for questionable calls. I saw a ball so far outside the other night, the Titanic could have sailed between the ball and the plate. I am not terribly mad at the umps it's just that we have the technology necessary to get it right almost 100% of the time so why not use it. And yes I realize that not everything in BB can be reviewed because of the game dynamics but what can be done should be done. GO YANKS!!!

Quite the opposite. I can’t figure out what strike zone their is for the Yankees. They showed two pitches to Jorge Posada that were several inches outside AND low.
