Pac-10, not Pac-12, sorry. Typo.

Yep. The M State game will be a good barometer of how the team is functioning. I thought the Gators were on their way to breaking out in the UK game when Tebow got hurt. I think a breakout game is coming soon, way before the SEC champ game.

I think Bama can win playing as they are now, but the lack of red zone offense concerns me.

In many ways Florida and Bama are mirror images of one another. Dominant defenses, offenses that rack up the yards, but struggle in the red zone.

Agreed, but I do believe Bama’s poor showings are behind them. 2 weeks in a row with poor performances on offense is all I believe Coach Saban will stand for. He WILL change QB’s if Mac doesn’t show up again.

They both try to throw in the red zone when running the ball is what got them there. SOmeone earlier on the thread mention the offensive coordinator at Bama being an idiot. I am inclined to agree from the last two games. The end zone fade route is a crap shoot at best, yet Bama and FL treat it like a lock.

Again, what happened when Utah played Alabama last year.

Ya’ll can talk smack about your defenses but, you have to walk the walk.

Besides, we have an ex-SEC defensive coordinator at Texas. Will Muschamp

It’s too bad the loser of the SEC title game can’t go to the Rose Bowl and play USC. That would be a really good bowl game for a change...

Again, what happened to those 65 points a game when OU played an SEC defense? Again, what happened?

Now you have an SEC defensive coordinator...bout time you wised up. I guess that means UT won’t give up more than 30 points in a game like you did three times last year.

Then you barely been a rotten 3 loss Ohio State team in the bowl game...a team that was beaten by USC 35-3.

BUT, instead of trying to prove something that you cannot...simply go to NCAA stats and read it for your self....

Check out the top TWO teams in Total Defense so far in 2009...Hint: They are BOTH in the SEC and BOTH ranked higher than Texas...

Texas is ranked #1 in rush defense, but ranked 50th in pass defense...

It ain’t smack talk...it is just the way it really is.

“How many years in a row has USC choked against a bad Pac-10 opponent?”

Four in a row. Ugh

Rock....I am not convinced that Florida and Bama won’t lose one BEFORE the SEC Championship game...South Carolina’s QB missed two touchdown passes Saturday...and the dimwitt Bama hired for offensive coordinator has put Bama 52nd in red zone offense and 65th in 3rd down conversions.

I can’t watch a Bama game..his play calling is SO BAD that even Gary Danielson said on the air, “Well, everybody in the stadium knew where that play was going.”

Bama should be crusing with the talent they have, but they have only two touchdowns in the last two games.

Besides, if Boise State is beaten, USC is BACK in the mix.

UM in the title game is a bit premature. As much as I’d love it, it ain’t gonna happen this year. Things are setting up quite nicely for a run like we had in 2000-2002, and if Terry Porter isn’t in the officiating mix, it could be even sweeter...

I could say pretty much all the same things about the Gators....even makes the Gator faithful wish for Dan Mullen to return.

Maybe Saban and Meyer are going out of their ways to not reveal too much before the inevitable showdown.

Don’t forget about Iowa. They’re lurking under the radar, but if they can get the win in Columbus, they are right there in the mix.

That is a good point...but Iowa has a more difficult road left...Boise plays only one team with a winning record the rest of the way.

Yea, Stanzi has taken all kinds of crap but has the guy ever lost a football game? Iowa now has the second longest winning streak in the country.

Sorry I didn’t get back sooner. Alabama could lose any of those scheduled games but even so I see that being even more incentive to beat Fla. We shall see, of course. Good Luck.

Where’s your Alabama now? They didn’t ‘deserve’ that win against Tenn tonight just like Alabama fans claim UF didn’t ‘deserve’ their win against Arkansas.

ANd what did Arkansas do tonight? Get blown out.

‘bama should get downgraded after that poor performance tonight.
