The wife and I are returning home to Wisconsin tomorrow after spending two weeks out west and southwest. We were in Big Bend national park two days ago when it was close to 100 degrees. We are now in Topeka, Kansas where it might freeze tonight. I can see how people want to drive down to warm weather and stay there. It’s very tempting.
Big Bend is beautiful. Most people would not believe the vastness and remoteness of BB.
