Totaly fascinating link. A very close friend bought and lived in Governor Metcalf’s (known as “Old Stonehammer”)lovely home “Forest Retreat” in Carlisle quite a few years ago. On the grounds were the burial sites of the Govenor, his son who was a Congressman, and a Derby winning horse.
