Mickey D's at the Louvre? The next thing you know they'll put carnival rides right next door!
As I recall, there was a McDonald's less than a block away from the museum anyway, so I guess it's not really a big deal.

I wonder what they are going to call a “Quarter Pounder with Cheese”?

I went to the Louvre Thanksgiving 2007 and didn’t even notice a McDonald’s...I was in and out of there in 90 minutes...I don’t mess around. I took the top 10 things to see in the Louvre and ran around finding them...once I found then I went on to the next attraction. Oh by the way, Hard Rock Cafe gave a slice of punkin pie to commemorate the American holiday in Paris to all the tourists!!!

I understand that McDonalds in Europe are better than the ones in the USA. If there is anything worse than the food at McDonald’s, it is the decor!
I can’t stand all that red and yellow plastic!

I cant stand all that red and yellow plastic! There were announcements awhile back that McD was going to spend a bunch of money changing the "atmosphere" and decor of their restaurants to make them more upscale looking.
So far there's no evidence of that in Central Virginia that I've seen.

... and they need to get rid of those clown things. Ugh!Have you seen the life-sized Ronald McDonald sitting on the bench? Is that what you mean?
There's one of those around here and it is the creepiest thing I've seen in a long time. And when a little kid sits on it, next to the clown, it gets even creepier.
Eeew.
