The UCI Pro Tour can do some odd things.

Contador “won” the 2007 TdF after Rass drugged out. Still Contador did good riding.

But last year his team, Astana, was not invited because of what Vino and a couple of other riders did.

I don't think the TdF organizers will go with 3 US teams.

I think it will be RadioShack and Columbia.

Garmin will have to make other plans for July 2010.

Garmin was the second place team this year with two guys in the top 10. I would think that would get them back. Presuming that Wiggins and Vandevelde stay on the team. It may be a long shot, but at this point they are going to be some of the stronger teams in the race (despite Columbia’s rather poor showing this year).
