Sometimes I wish I had a TV so I could turn it off.
You can always improvise.
Turn on the radio and then turn it off.
Or
If you have a gas range,
take a bag,
just for fun, give it a name,
place it over the burner,
turn the burner on,
start filling the bag,
and then turn the burner off.
That way, you can feel good about
turning the gas bag off.
