Jeff Goldblum Confims His Own Death
Geek Tyrant ^ | July 1, 2009

When Jeff Goldblum passed away, a little bit of all of us died. I will be missed.

He couldn’t have said it better. Words can’t describe the great loss we felt when we heard actor Jeff Goldblum had passed away. Luckily he visited the set of The Colbert Report to help us put his death into perspective.

In this hilarious video, Colbert takes some time during his show to remember Goldblum, after it was reported that he died in New Zealand while filming a movie. Even when Goldblum himself comes to prove that he is indeed alive and well, Colbert is unconvinced, because people on Twitter say otherwise. So Jeff finally confirms the rumors, and walks into the light!

Absolutely fantastic! Check it out, and let us know what you think.

If it’s on Twitter, it must be true.

Cute!

Glad to see an ad for ‘American Players Theater’ on that site. I’ll be there in a few weeks to get my ‘Shakespeare Fix’ for the season.

He's a new detective on Law & Order Criminal Intent. I've seen 1 or 2 of the new shows with him on. I think he's doing a good job. Wish they would can Donofrio and put Goldblum on every week.

And I wish Law & Order SVU would stop with the rape flashbacks of Olivia. In fact, both shows should can the personal angst stories of their lead characters, in my opinion. That's what made the original Law & Order so successful - they never turned into a soap opera.

Cool. I like Law and Order too. It has been running concurrently with The Simpsons. At least, it is more watchable and enjoyable than The Simpsons. Also, they are loosely based on real news events. Criminal Intent is cool, except it is on cable, which I do not have. At least they are airing it on NBC for the summer.

He’s on Law & Order, Criminal Intent. Took Detective Mike Logan’s (Chris Noth) place on the show.

While I get that Colbert’s schtick is to mock conservatives, I have to say a lot of his show is pretty hilarious.

I tried watching Colbert, I find him and the show painfully unfunny.

Sometimes it can be...but he’s mostly mocking pompous Bill O’Reilly and his ego, and I cannot stand BillO, so every once in a while Colbert lands a good one.

I liked him better as a stand-up comic.

Something about him is just....kinda creepy.
