The president's grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama, was Muslim. During the presidential campaign, some of Obama's detractors famously referred to the candidate by his full name, Barack Hussein Obama, as a means of highlighting his family's Muslim roots. His father and stepfather were also Muslim. I think I'd be safe in saying 99% of his fathers family were/are Muslim. It's highly likely, 90% of his family are Muslim because the few non-Muslim family members were/are on his mothers side and we never hear about them. Other than his half sister, does he even have any maternal family members left?

Other than his half sister, does he even have any maternal family members left?None other than Maya Soetoro Ng; however she has siblings other than Barry.
Ng was born Maya Soetoro to Indonesian businessman Lolo Soetoro and American cultural anthropologist Ann Dunham. Her elder half-brother is the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. She has said she was named after American poet Maya Angelou.
After her parents divorced in 1980, her father remarried. From this marriage, Soetoro-Ng has another half-brother, Yusuf Aji Soetoro (b. 1981), and a half-sister, Rahayu Nurmaida Soetoro (b. 1984).
I'm not implying anything from these extended family ties to Obama but it's a fact that his anchors to claiming natural born citizen status are all dead.
