Former CNBC "Fast Money" host Dylan Ratigan has landed a new daytime program at MSNBC.
Ratigan's new show will air on the news network from 9 to 11 a.m. Eastern Time. MSNBC had few details about what it will be, other than a mixture of talk and news with a distinct personality.

That’s too bad. I would have follow him anywhere but there. Fast Money with Ratigan and the gang was a hoot.
Ratigan had plenty negative to say about the Obama team’s financial plans...wonder how he’ll survive at MSNBC?
I'm sorry his career is in such trouble. If he's lucky this downward spiral won't last forever.
Is he kinda, sorta...conservative? I’ve never seen him.
I don’t know what his politics are, but as a financial guy, he saw the pitfalls in 0’s plans and wasn’t afraid to say how he thought those plans were affecting Wall Street. Of course, he left the station (CNBC) just about the time the NBC types were lecturing the financial guys to tone it down on their disapproval of Obama and Geithner. The woman who took his place is milquetoast, IMHO, compared to him.
Ratigan was the best at describing what was going on during the meltdown in a way financial non-pros could understand. Fast Money is good; but not as good as when he was there.
Just about anybody you put in that center chair will be a milquetoast after Ratigan. I’ll give Melissa a shot as long as the five regulars are still there ...(Macke, Adami, Finerman, Najarian, Seymour ... all good. They have a good time, cover a lot of ground, and each could carry the show all by themselves, if they had to.)
Ratigan made a horrible career move. I hate it. He was 1st Class, imo. MSNBC is a wasteland, 24/7.
CNBC is great from 6am to 5pm CST. Nothing comes close, imo, ... but they may end up “Greening” me over to FOXB if they keep constantly pounding that drum. “All GE companies think that GREEN IS A VERY GOOD THING.” LOL .. OKAY, I GOT THAT, ALREADY. LIKE, TWO YEARS AGO I got that. If I want to wallow in “Green”, then I’ll go roll around in the back yard. Now, tone it down and go report the business news, CNBC. That’s what you do best. [/rant]
