I was in IST a few times in last year. (Have clients in Antalya and Mersin.) Although I didn’t take many, all cabs I saw were modern Japaneese cars.

I was in IST twice, once in ‘74 and once in ‘76 and I was amazed at the number of 57 Chevies and older used as taxis. Some of them may still be parked in someone’s backyard.
