Obama gets a B-plus for his first 100 days, while the retro GOP battles FDR. Apr 24, 2009
MSNBC, Newsweek ^ | April 25,2009 | Eleanor Clift

Voters aren't in a self-congratulatory mood. They're worried about the economy, and the Obama that emerges in the data is a strong leader with convictions who has held up despite the battering he's gotten in the three months since taking office. Pressed to point to red flags for Obama in the numbers, Pew Research Center president Andy Kohut pleaded, "I'm trying, I'm trying.

First Eleanor keeps talking about Republicans, what about the Independents that crossed over to vote for Obama, who along with others members of different parties and today are having “buyer’s remorse”. The majority of the people I know scream for less spending, less taxing, and smaller government so saying that people are not hungering for tax cuts is not true. You say people berate Obama for moving towards socialism, which history proves unstable and questionable and he hasn’t the nerve to tell us that he is in fact leaning that way (dishonest). You also say that Americans look to Washington for help during a crisis! You are correct on that, but only during a crisis. If the government could fix something once in awhile would be helpful, but they can’t everything they touch breaks so they do need to get out of the way. If they would have let the banks, autos fall and go through the process we would probably be getting a loan and looking at a new car by now (speculation couldn’t be any worse) but we haven’t even come close to fixing the problem after spending billions. For starters instead of trying to fix banks and the big three, they should have practiced on the US Postal service first just to get their feet wet. I am not that concerned what Saudi Arabia, France, Venezuela, Iran, the UN and all the others that criticize America for feeding and providing medicine for the world think of me or America. If those countries can show me a fix to fix the world then show me, because they haven’t done any better for the last 1 or 2000 years, they keep asking America for help. I have never lowered my head because of embarrassment being American until Obama started traveling with his world circus tour. What has Obama said? What has he accomplished? What has he done that is new that has work? What has he done that he broke? So I ask YOU are you better off today than you where 100 days ago? Well I guess he gets an F.

...the country is more upbeat,

These five words are enough to prove this woman is totally delusional and nothing more than an idiotic, liberal, cheer leading hack!

In the dictionary, under retro, it says: “See Eleanor Clift.”

The Indistar (www.indistar.com) has him at F = 49%. At one point the D + F = 63%. Based on the people I know, this would be closer to the public’s opinion.

Right... Even MSNBC’s own web poll has him at F.

There is a huge disconnect between the folks and the elite media spin and their manufactured polls.

No Kidding. Shw wrote “who has held up despite the battering he’s gotten in the three months since taking office”. The only thing that has gotten battered on Obama is his hind side from all the kissing there by the MSM.

Totally unbiased reporting.

His grade was a D-, but he gets affirmative action credit of one letter and another letter for being Dem.

More lies by Newsweak and Eleanor Clift, a national menace. They poll 11% more democrats in polls and then tell us how everyone loves Hussein.
